Last year, hundreds of thousands of loving dogs and cats were killed in shelters just because they didn’t have a safe place to call home — but you can change that and help out pets here in New York City. Best Friends is leading the no-kill movement by running lifesaving adoption and spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats, providing support and training for animal shelters and rescue groups, and mobilizing community members on behalf of pets in need across the country. We’ll set up a living room surrounded by a fenced-in backyard with adoptable dogs and cats in the middle of Times Square.
